About Shaver's Woodworks
Shaver's Woodworks was founded in 1995 by Ed Shaver. While working part time, Shaver began designing and building commissioned pieces for select clients. The company was incorporated on May 1, 2000. Since incorporation, Shaver has devoted himself full time to the business.
Shaver started working with wood over 45 years ago while in high school. Following a 31 year career in the telecommunications industry, he has turned his love for wood into a second career. Largely self taught, Shaver has fine tuned his woodworking skills through extensive research, in-depth reading and specialized training classes over the years.
Since the company's inception, Shaver has designed and built well over 200 unique pieces of furniture and cabinetry. Working with his client, he designs each piece individually, then personally builds, finishes, delivers and if needed, installs his work. Only the finest materials are used including top grade hardwood lumber, hardwood veneered plywood, exotic hardwood veneers, professional stains and finishes.
Shaver has clients throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, North and South Carolina, Kentucky and Texas. He serves a variety of both residential and commercial clients.
